Breakthrough Your Comfort Zone to the Success Zone!

By Lisa Jimenez

Picture this.

A little child is crawling around a new surrounding when they
notice, for the first time, a huge staircase. As this little
child gazes up at the new apparatus, what thoughts do you think
are going on in their mind? How do one-year-olds think about
new things? How do they react to the unknown?

If you are around children, you know the response. They would
say, "Wow, I've got to get to the top!"

Alternatively, do you think they would look up at the huge
staircase and think, "Wow I've got to get to the top! But, wait
a minute. I didn't go to stair climbing school. Maybe I'm not
ready. I'll just wait until I have my degree in stair climbing,
and then watch me go!"

On the other hand, would this little one look up at the huge
staircase and think, "Wow, I've got to get to the top. But
wait. I might get hurt. I may fail. I've heard it said 22% of
one-year-olds fall on staircases. In fact, CNN just announced
stair climbing as a code orange! It's too risky."

Or would this one-year-old think, "Wow, I've got to get to the
top. But wait. What will my friends say? What if I succeed?
They may think that I don't fit in with the group back in the
sandbox. They might think I'm one of those snobby, famous stair
climbers. You know what they say. It's lonely at the top. I
better not. It's just too risky.

NOT! A one-year-old wouldn't say any of these things. A one-
year-old is hungry for adventure! They have an inborn, risk-
taking ability. It is their nature to risk! They see it. They
want it. They take it.

Now, what you need to understand is you know this little child;
because this little one is YOU! You were once one-year-old.
You once had incredible risk-taking ability. You used to see
it. Want it. Take it.

So, what happened? What happened to the natural risk-taking
ability that you were born with?

Life happened. Circumstances occurred. Disappointments
experienced. And you, like me, began to let fear creep in.
Slowly and surely, fear began to grow until it was bigger than
your dream, bigger than your faith.

Has life circumstances and disappointments silenced your risk-
taking ability? Has fear crushed your hunger for adventure?

One of the first habits you can incorporate to rekindle the risk-
taker in you is to cultivate your child-like thinking.

Psychologists say 68% of people miss out on opportunity simply
because they are not awake to it. Did you read that clearly?
They are not awake. Most people are in a coma of routine,
habit, and schedule. They almost have to be. We over stimulate
our calendar with so many tasks and errands that it becomes
necessary to be in a robotic state of "doing" to ensure
everything on the to-do list will get accomplished.

And now, the harassed style of thinking and living has become a
habit - a way of life. You can break through this negative
behavior of living by making a conscious effort to become more
childlike - not childish - but, childlike.

Find amazement with things again!

Did you know that NASA can not duplicate the flight pattern of a
dragon fly?

Did you know that a butterfly's life span is two days - and that
they are never babies? They go right from the cocoon to an
adult butterfly?

Did you know the more pollution in the air the more brilliant
and bold the sunsets?

Did you know that baby zebras recognize their mommies by the
positioning of their stripes - and the stripe patterns are never
duplicated!

Isn't it amazing that alligators lay their eggs at different
levels in the ground. And this action determines the gender of
the newborn alligator?

Isn't it amazing that it is impossible to be mad and laugh at
the same time? Isn't it amazing that you can cause a grown man
or woman with a tough exterior to melt like butter when you say,
"I love you."

Isn't it amazing that young children who just meet each other
can play like they are lifelong friends within a few seconds?

These seemingly insignificant facts can cause you to wake up.
Wake up and think differently. Wake up and notice the abundance
of wisdom, love, and miracles that are found in life! Wake up
to opportunity that is there for you - waiting for you to notice
and respond.

Just imagine what your life would look like if you called on
your natural risk-taking ability. Imagine what your business
would look like if you cultivated your childlike thinking.
Imagine what your relationships would look like if you were
willing to really love!

Let this article be your wakeup call to the amazement of life.
It just might cause you to be aware of the abundant opportunity
waiting for you in your business and in life!

Make it a great and productive month.
Richest blessings,

LISA!
