Er det noen som har noe mer info rundt dette: www.suite101.com/content/the-negative-impacts-of-stress-on-diet-a221434
"Stress and Food Cravings According to Elizabeth Somer, author of Food and Mood, cortisol impacts the production of brain chemicals (such as neuropeptide Y and serotonin) which have been found to trigger food cravings. Neuropeptide Y is directly responsible for the desire for carbohydrate-rich foods and elevated levels have been found in obese people. Serotonin is responsible for both mood and cravings; obese people often have lower serotonin levels than do lean people. Carbohydrates act as mood elevators by temporarily raising serotonin levels so cravings become nearly compulsive whenever one is tired, depressed or stressed."
