:eek: Vel, jeg må bare innrømme det at jeg er ikke flink nok til å få i meg nok vann. Leser at en del her drikker både 2 og 3 liter om dagen, imponerende!
Stilte spørsmål til min lege om hvor mye man bør drikke, hun sa at om våren/sommeren når vi er mer i aktivitet trenger vi ca. 10 glass om dagen (vi svetter mer på denne årstiden). Høsten/vinteren mente hun at 6/7 glass var mer enn nok, da vi ikke svetter så mye. (Hun så helt bort fra de som trener mye - de trenger selvsagt mer). Hun mente også at dersom man drikker for mye så benyttes nyrene våre mer enn de strengt tatt trenger på denne årstiden.
Noen som har noen meninger om dette (ja, det regner jeg med - he-he) ;)

Why water is so important
Water suppresses the appetite and helps the body metabolize stored fat. Studies have shown that a decrease in water intake causes fat deposits to increase, therefore, increasing water input reduces fat.
Why: The kidneys need water to function properly. Without sufficient water for the kidneys, the kidneys cannot work adequately and so this effects some of the water going to the liver. One of the primary functions of the liver is metabolize fat into energy for the body. If the liver needs to do some of the work of the kidneys, the liver can not work as it should to metabolize fat and so more fat is stored in the body increasing weight and not using the fat as energy.
The lymphatic system is your waste disposal system, breaking down toxins like caffeine before passing them into the blood stream. Dehydration weakens the flow of lymph in the system and makes the body less resistant to infection.
Skin needs water for elasticity, so too little water leaves it looking dry, lined and feeling delicate. Sunken eyes and under eye circles are signs that you need water. Eyes sink because there isn't enough water to keep them suspended in the eye socket. Under-eye circles are due to thin skin being bruised as fluid drains away.
Blood transports oxygen to the muscles for activities such as exercise. If there isn't enough oxygen in the blood, the muscles create lactic acid which causes painful cramp. Drinking more water helps to keep blood pumped with oxygen.
A healthy hydrated body removes waste with light yellow virtually odourless urine. If you are not drinking enough, the darker urine is more highly concentrated and waste products linger in the bladder, leaving you prone to cystitis and kidney infections. Constipation can also be a problem, because water is needed to bulk out faeces. Drinking water helps to rehydrate this waste.
When you are felling puffy as women often do before a period, drinking water isn't your immediate thought. But it's the best treatment for reducing fluid retention. If your body doesn't get enough water, it senses there is a shortage and begins to retain every drop it needs for vital daily processes.
Bad breath is a classic sign that you need to boost your water intake. Saliva helps cleanse the teeth of bacteria and keeps the tongue hydrated. Lack of water dries the mouth, leads to furry tongue and prevents bacteria from being washed away.
Ja jeg har stor tro på at mengden vann kan være avgjørende for vekta. Jeg tror ihvertfall mer og mer på min egen teori om at jeg drikker for lite i helga...og at det kanskje kan være årsaken til at vekta stopper opp eller går opp i helga. Neste helg kal jeg virkelig pøse poå med vann så får jeg se...:)
Skriver under på alt dette jeg. Her er det bare å pøse på. Men er det 2,5 liter da? Jeg har tenkt 2... Og det er for så vidt ikke like lett hver dag... Men noen ganger hender det at jeg drikker mer enn 2 liter. Kanskje det er de dagene jeg går mest ned? Dette må studeres!!!:confused:
